TUESDAY:
Today, we discussed our stage presence for the o2 and how we could get the audience dancing and involved in our performance so that we could be as confident as possible. We have discussed different effects that we might use to hinder our stage presence and performance for example, a disco ball and a bubble machine, which we are hoping to use on our disco song and our funk song "Conscience Alley". Both the disco ball and the bubble machine coincide with our band style and genre.
After we made our plan for the o2, we researched places where we could hire a bubble machine and a disco ball and we found that there was a party supply shop near to college so we all walked up to the shop only to find it had been shut down. We are going to have a look online for the bubble machine and the disco ball instead.
We didn't want to waste our journey to the supply shop, so on the way back to college, we distributed flyers for our o2 gig and then posted some pictures of this on our social media. Here is a picture of us doing this:

WEDNESDAY:
During our production lesson, we listened through all of our songs for our EP and wrote a plan and list for everything we had to get done in our production lessons before the o2 gig. After this we started to edit two of our songs, 'Illusions' and 'Deeper Shades', where Leila started to comp her bass lines, and Ellie and myself started to edit the harmonies and vocal levels.
In the afternoon which was supposed to be a band rehearsal we decided to basically take another production lesson in the mastering suite. We finished mixing and mastering our first song "Conscience Alley" and then I recorded lead vocals and harmony vocals for another one of our songs "Illusions". In next weeks lesson, we plan to mix and master illusions, now that everything has been recorded.
THURSDAY:
Today we had a band rehearsal with Ross. We went through all of our songs, but we still need to go through our introduction song for when Ellie walks on stage at the o2. Hopefully we can begin to look at this tomorrow during our other band rehearsal.
FRIDAY:
This morning I had my solo band rehearsal and we started to add finishing touches to some of my original songs which I will be performing at the o2 to open the event before Novacane play. After this, I had a band rehearsal with Novacane, but Ross didn't turn up so we had to rehearse without guitar. It still sounded good though, and I am really confident that we are going to sound brilliant at the o2. Here is a clip of our rehearsal:
