FMP DEVELOPMENT LOG 4

TUESDAY:

Today we spent our academic lesson squaring away coursework and ensuring we had our development logs and band plans up to date. Then during our band rehearsal, we decided to focus on working on our solo sets for the o2. I have my own solo set and then Jack and Leila are part of Ellies solo band, too. Ross, our new guitarist, can only rehearse with us on Thursdays, until the beginning of May when he can attend every rehearsal we do. I continued writing some R&B for my solo project and found a really interesting beat which I am trying to replicate for a new track. Here is the link for it:

WEDNESDAY:

This morning, in our production lesson, Ellie and myself focused on mixing and mastering our single “deeper shades”. After this, I started to create some artwork for the single and we have two possibilities which we need to choose from:

After this, I spent my academic lesson, again, squaring away coursework and ensuring my development logs were detailed enough and up to date. As we cannot get Ross to rehearse with us until Thursday, I booked the studio so that I can record some vocals for my solo project, in the time that we would have been rehearsing.

THURSDAY:

I was absent from college on Thursday as I had to go and pick my house for university in September.

FRIDAY:

Today, we rehearsed our set a few times without guitar. We are really confident with our songs now and are looking forward to working with Ross in the upcoming weeks to our o2 gig.
