BAND PRACTICE AND PRODUCTION WEEK 10

On Tuesday, we rehearsed “Conscience Alley”, “Lesson Learnt” and our new song “Deeper Shade” and we continued to try and finish writing our 60’s song “Judas”. We are hoping to complete “Judas” soon as we now have a chorus, and verses.

On Wednesday in our production lesson, we downloaded the stems from SAE and started to mix and master the both tracks we recorded there. There were over 200 stems and none of them were labelled, so we had to try and organise them into separate tracks which took up most of our lesson time. Because of this, and our deadline fast approaching, we continued to mix and master “Conscience Alley”.

On Thursday, we started to work on stage presence for our Christmas gig and decided that we were going to rehearse our set on stage. Our set so far is 12 minutes long, and we need it to be 15 minutes long, so hopefully, we will have our 60’s song completed by then so that we can play it at the gig.
