SOCIAL MEDIA AND ADVERTISING OUR GIGS

There are three main ways we are going to be advertising our gigs. These are:
Social Media:
Our aim is to post on our Instagram twice a week, which will keep us staying relevant and people won’t get bored of us. We have decided that we are going to be posting on Instagram mainly, as this is the favourite app of our target audience. We have been posting regularly on our Instagram including gig advertisements and videos of us in the recording studio. Here is a screenshot of our Instagram page:

Posters:
We have started to create posters for our Christmas gig, using our new logo. This is for people that do not follow our Instagram page or haven’t seen our posts. We are going to put the posters up around college as our main target audience will be people our age. We are going to start putting the posters up two weeks before our gig to give people plenty of notice for when we are performing. Here is a draft version of one of our posters:

Word of mouth:
Each of us in the band are going to tell friends and family personally to come to our gig.
