NOVACANE LOGO

Novacane have been drawing ideas for our logo for a few weeks now and we finally have one, thanks to Leila’s sister who is a graphic designer and helped us! I have written in more detail about the reasonings and explanations of the logo on my “Band Identity” blog post. Here are some images of how our logo has progressed over the past few weeks:

We decided to choose a rubix cube for our logo, as it is a nostalgic image that reminds people of good times and their youth. We want our music and style to have the same effect on people. The bright colours of a rubix cube also coincide with our genre and style. However, as you can see from the finalised logo, we have decided to use pastel colours instead. This was because, we wanted to bring old style music back to this generation by adding a modern twist to it. So, the logo is more than just a logo, its an explanation of our band and our aims. We are taking nostalgic music and adding a personalised, modern twist to it.
